Snow and Emergency Closure Policy

TALENT might have to cancel the Tamil classes in any of the following situations:

• Unavailability of the HCPSS public school classrooms due to public school events.
• The HCPSS (Howard County Public School System) decides to close the public schools due to inclement weather conditions like snow, sleet, severe thunderstorms, etc.
• The HCPSS decides to cancel after-school activities due to emergency/inclement weather conditions.

Please note that TALENT does not have any control over these situations and may not be able to communicate ahead of time. TALENT will communicate to parents about any such emergencies/weather-related school closings through email. Teachers will communicate to their classes via whatsapp. Parents can contact the TALENT admin/class teacher for any queries.

Liability Disclaimer

TALENT does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals, groups, organizations, businesses, spectators, or others who may participate in TAMIL CLASS. I hereby agree on behalf of my child, to indemnify TALENT and its coordinators, board members and teachers, joint and severally from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands for, upon or by reason of any damage, loss or injury, which hereafter may be sustained by participating in TAMIL CLASS. It is further understood and agreed that said participation in TAMIL CLASS is not to be construed as an admission of any liability and acceptance of assumption of responsibility by TALENT, its officers, board, and employees, jointly and severally, for all damages and expenses for which TALENT, its coordinators, board members and employees, become liable as a result of any alleged act of the participant.
